Responsibilities

Support development of AI-related backend systems, APIs, and AI applications, and provide forward-deployed engineering (FDE) services to clients.
Assist with AI model deployment, inference, agent, and AI tools development.
Help build AI compliance architecture, including test controls for RBAC, API key lifecycle management, and user lifecycle workflows.
Support request-governance features such as model allowlists, quota checks, provider restrictions, and sensitive-data checks.
Work with engineering and business stakeholders to convert defined requirements into scoped implementation tasks.

Requirements

Prior full-time work experience is not required.
Strong coding fundamentals in at least one language such as Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
Knowledge and skills in machine learning, AI models, as well as AI application development.
Understanding of APIs, authentication, authorization, databases, logging, and cloud service architecture.
Ability to learn quickly and reason carefully about AI models, AI applications, and system boundaries.
Clear written communication and disciplined documentation practices.
Attention to detail and willingness to work across engineering, marketing, compliance, and business teams.

Coursework, internship, project, or research experience related to backend systems, AI model inference, AI application development, or developer tools.
Interest in AI platforms, API gateways, model routing, or AI governance.
